GREENPEACE IN CHARLOTTE

In the nearly 40 years since it began as a small group of volunteers, Greenpeace has changed the world. Committed activists have come together to to ban commercial whaling, convinced the world's leaders to stop nuclear testing, protect Antarctica and more.

Charlotte, NC Greenpeace activists and 350.org, Candlelight Vigil  by greenpeaceleadactivists.

The event was well supported with youngsters joining in the festive mood helped by a jazz group playing carols. More photos from the Charlotte event.
